Animal Rescue - Adoption - Sanctuary
Hayflakes Sanctuary is organized to ensure the survival and promote the welfare of equine, canine, and certain other animals. We do this based on veterinary referals or from other shelters. We accept animals beyond help of other shelters and for those who can be, rehabilitate them for adoption.

Emergency Needs
One of the horses needs new shoes and right now we cannot afford the service. Please donate $45 to cover this.
Four of the dogs have finished rehab and are ready for adoption. These guys need to go to make room for more dogs that need our special care. We cannot accept any more dogs until these guys find a new home. Please check out these guys and take one home.

We have items donated to the Sanctuary to be sold to raise much needed funds. Please see the list. Items are currently in Danville.

The Christmas Kittens!
Two litters of kittens came to the Sanctuary last month, just in time for Christmas. We placed four of the nine. Thank you. Now we have five more to go. And they are polidactile (six toes!).

Our Latest Fundaraising Success!
The Garage Sale in Danville raised $330 - enough to buy some hay for the horses. Thanks to all who donated items and a special thanks to Amanda for her hard work on this event. We are already planning our next one. Watch here for details.
